Anthony Wayne Pappan passed away on Friday, October 16, 2020 in Oklahoma City, OK, at the age of 40. He was born July 14, 1980 to Leland Pappan Jr and Norene Crazybear Pappan in Ponca City, OK.

A traditional noon feast will be held Sunday, October 18, 2020 at the Ponca Cultural center. Following will be the Funeral services with Pastor Louis Headman officiating. He will be laid to rest at the Ponca Indian Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Patrick Pappan, Gerald Pappan Jr, Jalen Kemble, Vaughn Smith, Zachary Pappan and Javier Higine. Honorary bearers will be Leland Pappan III, Quentin Pappan, Richard Pappan, Lemuel Rhodd III, Jeff Leclair, Kenneth Camp, Whitefeather Zotigh, Tonner Warrior, Douglas Eagle Jr and Marcus Eagle.

Anthony loved spending time with his family, watching movies, his favorite movie was Django. He also loved to cook and his favorite thing to eat was hot wings. He also enjoyed talking on the phone and listening to music. Anthony was a proud member of the Ponca Nation and a big OU fan.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his mother Norene Pappan, brothers; Clinton Pappan, Leland Pappan III, Quentin Pappan and wife Mercedes Pappan, Richard Pappan and wife Cheyenne Pappan., sisters; Tina Cerre and husband Jason Cerre, Molly Kemble, Leann Pappan and Millicent Higine. Also surviving are his uncle Thomas Pappan Sr, Aunts Millie Mihecoby, Clairene Arkeketa and numerous nieces and nephews and grandbabies.

Anthony was preceded in death by his Father Leland Pappan Jr, Brothers; Gerald Pappan Sr., Randy Kemble, Nephew; Carlos Dela Riva and grandson: Tayven Pappan.

Anthony will be missed greatly by his family and friends, Rest Easy.
