Paige L. McDonald Paige L. McDonald aka "Chief" died at the age of 70
in his home in Morrison, OK. Friday, July 26, 2013. Paige was born June 5, 1943 in Pawnee, OK. His
parents were John McDonald and Eva (Surritte) and step father Harry Childs.
Paige worked offshore for C&D Wireline as a wireline
specialist. Paige was called upon often and known as The Best in the
business and was wanted by many. Paige was in the U.S. Army and served his time in
Vietnam, something he had never forgotten. He made many friends while
serving his country and was very proud of his accomplishment. Paige enjoyed crafting and helping others and
donated to several charitable organizations regularly. Known for his humor
and his wit and the biggest heart of anyone. Thanks to his brothers, Paige
was able to spend his last years at the peaceful home he loved and needed
“THE FORTY”. Paige was predeceased by his parents and his sisters
Judy McDonald and Patsy Rhymes. Paige is survived by his son Paige H. McDonald and
wife Debra of Blackwell, OK. daughter Regan McDonald Unap and husband Robert
Unap Jr. of Skiatook, OK. and his many grandkids; Jeffery McDonald of
Tennessee, Christopher Schoonover of Ponca City, Chance McDonald, Jewell
McDonald, Robert Unap III, Joseph Unap and Laura Unap of Skiatook, OK. His
siblings; Charles McDonald of Louisiana, Thelma McCarty and her husband Sim
of Hominy, OK. Virginia Rush of Ponca City, OK, Roland Childs and his wife
Frances of Guthrie, OK. Brother-in-law; Danny Rhymes of Ninnekah, his Dog
"Prince" and his many many friends. Wake services will be 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 30,
2013. Traditional meal will be NOON Wednesday, July 31, 2013 with Services
to follow at 2 p.m. officiated by CW Clearwater. Casket bearers will be
Paige H. McDonald, Chance L. McDonald, Robert Unap Jr., Shawn McCarty, Tim
Hurt Jr., Brice Rhymes, Monty Harris, Julian Childs, Christopher Schoonover
and Larry Vessey. Honorary Casket Bearers are Charles McDonald, Mitch
McDonald, Mitchell McDonald and Simion McCarty. Military Honors will be
provided by the U.S. Army Honors Team from Ft. Sill, OK. Paige will be laid
to rest on the hill in the Ponca Tribal Cemetery at White Eagle, OK. Thank
