Clarkson Warren Little Cook, born March 20, 1952 to Moran and Inez Clark Little Cook in Pawnee, Oklahoma, went to be with the lord on March 1, 2021 Clarkson was 68 years of age. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was born in Pawnee Oklahoma to Moran Little Cook and Inez Clark. He attended Chilocco Indian school, Concho Boarding school and graduated from Riverside in 1972 and started a lifelong career of a plumping contractor. In 1987 he married his high school sweetheart Susan NewBreast. Together they raised their family and enjoyed their grandkids and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be remembered for his wise words and sense of humor.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother Moran Little Cook and Inez Clark, his brothers Jesse Little Cook, Steve Little Cook, David Omar Reece, Newton Hays Clark, Kelly Clark, and Dallas Leo Kent. His sisters Bertha Little Cook and Bell Little Cook.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Susan Little Cook of 34 years, His brother, Jasper Clark and wife Lavina Clark, his sister Oney Roubedeaux and husband Richard Roubedeaux, Son Floyd “Bo” Little Cook, and family. Daughter Juanita “Jay” Little Cook and family, Son Ross Little Cook and granddaughter Saraya Little Cook, Daughter Judy Little Cook, and grandson Samuel Kaulaity. Daughter Adrienne Little Cook and Granddaughter Tashina Little Cook, The Giveswater family as well and very large extended family.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2021 in the Ponca Indian Cultural Building with Pastor Jim White officiating, following the traditional noon feast. Interment will follow in the Ponca Indian Cemetery.
