Heaven gained an angel on March 25, 2019. Leonard Henry Koshiway known to others as "Lenwood." He was born on July 25, 1981. Leonard was a proud member of the Otoe Eloska Society and the Kiowas Groud Clan. He loved to travel the Pow-Wow trail as well as seeing all of his powwow family he made along the way.

Leonard was 37 years of age and leaves behind two daughters; Angel Koshiway and Aubree Koshiway, a son; Tristan Koshiway and a Goddaughter; Rosie Goodeagle. The mother of his children; Amelia Cozad, mother; Victoria Koshiway, grandmother; Martha Koshiway, three sisters; Lalita, Shalene, Shawndra, two brothers; Shawn Jr, and Gary, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends who were brothers and sisters to Leonard. He is proceeded in death by his father; Gregory Conrad Lieb, known as "Cougar", his great-grandparents; Joe and Genevieve Bassett, and grandfather; Goodwin "G.K." Bassett.

Prayer services will be held starting Tuesday evening, March 26th, at the Otoe-Missouria Cultural Center near Red Rock. A noon meal will be served on Thursday, March 28th, at the Cultural Center with a traditional funeral service at 2pm. Burial will be in the Ponca Tribal Cemetery.

Casket Bearers will be; Gary Franklin, Branden Roughface, Theumba Lieb, Sky Lieb, Thomas Goodeagle and Joseph Koshiway.

Honorary Bearers; Shawn Franklin, Aria Lieb, Brandon Corrington, JD Ruff, Hank Ruff, Joe Ruff, David Williams, Kingston Lowe, Jeffrey Lieb Jr, Derek Lieb, Thunder Lieb and Grey Cloud Lieb.

Arrangements are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel in Ponca City. Condolences may be left for the family online at www.gracememorialchapel.net
