Delores Darlene Jones passed away on Wednesday September 27, 2017. She was a resident of Ponca City. She was born on March 22, 1962 in Pawnee to Deforrest Jones and Serena Bessie LeClair Jones. She worked in a bingo hall as a caller. She is a proud member of both the Kaw Nation and the Ponca Nation. She loved playing bingo and going to the casino. She was an avid OU fan as well as the Dallas Cowboys. Delores loved to spend her time fishing.
She is survived by two daughters, Rosie Quintana and Laura Jones both of Texas; two sons Israel Garcia, Jr. and Emilio Garcia both of Ponca City; Husband Israel Garcia, Sr. of the home; siblings Doreen Jones of Texas; Edward Jones of Texas; Theresa Vilchis , Sherry Jones, Jennifer Jones all of Ponca City; Victoria Collins and George Collins of Oklahoma City; Rose LaVern, Samuel LeClair of Ponca City; Virgie Sosa of Nebraska; Louise Jones of Oklahoma City; numerous grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins , nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Irene Jones, sister Jacquline Jones, Brother Norman Jones, Jr. , Grandparents Irene and David Jones, and grandparents Phillip and Ida LeClair, and step mom Sharon Jones.
A traditional tribal service will be held at the United Methodist Church in White Eagle. Services start on Wednesday 9-27-2017 at 4:00 p.m. A traditional noon feast will be held at the church on Saturday with burial to follow. Jimmy White will officiate
