Mary Ann Gonzales, of Ponca City, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord on June 8, 2021. She was only 52.
She was born October 24, 1968, in Anaheim, CA to Edward Gonzales and Naomi Eagle. She relocated to Ponca City in 1983.
As Mary would say, she was “rolling back the prices” at Walmart for 15 years. She later went on to deal back jack at 7 clans Casino where she enjoyed conversating with customers. She enjoyed working with the public and making them laugh. Mary loved to travel with her family, watch her children play softball and attend their orchestra and choir concerts. She enjoyed watching her favorite TV programs with her husband James and granddaughter Ali. Mary was also fond of going on night walks with her daughters and granddaughter. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents Edward Gonzales and Naomi Eagle, brother Richard Gonzales, and sister Patti Yellow Horse.
Mary is survived by her husband James Bowen; children Lindsey Gonzales, Jamie Bowen, and Jennifer Bowen; granddaughter, Alfreida LeClair; brother Robert Gonzales; sister Diane Gonzales; niece Rachel Gonzales and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Traditional services will be held under the care of Grace Memorial Chapel on Saturday, June 12, 2021, following the noon feast at the Ponca Tribe Cultural Center.
