Claudina Snake Downing of Colcord, OK passed away in Colcord with her family by her side. She was 51 years of age. Claudina was born February 5, 1965 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Howard and Diana Sue Allen Snake.

Funeral services will be held following the traditional noon feast and give away at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2016 in the Ponca Tribe Cultural Center with Pastor Don Marshall officiating. Interment will follow in the Ponca Indian Cemetery.

Claudina grew up in Oklahoma and she married the love of her life Tim Downing on April 27, 1987 in White Eagle, OK. Claudina was of the Baptist faith and she was a member of the Greyhorse and Hominy Hethuska, She was also a well known for her Singing at POW WOW's. Claudina was also a Champion Dancer and she enjoyed watching her grandson participate in sports and cultural ways.

Survivors include: Husband; Tim of the Home; 1 son; Joseph Logan Downing and wife Lindsay of Greasy, OK and 1 daughter; Courtney Elaine Downing of Colcord, OK, 1 brother; Shannon LeRoy of Omaha, Nebraska, 1 sister: Diana Haddock of Oaks, OK and 1 grandson: Xander Rai Downing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers: Jarvis LeRoy and Logan Henry LeRoy and 1 sister Gladys Valerie Duvall.
