Alfred Tennyson Arkeketa, Jr passed away on January 29, 2020 at the age of 63 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He was born on July 28, 1956 to Alfred Tennyson and Clairene (Crazybear) Arkeketa.

After Jr finished high school high school, he joined the US Marine’s where he proudly served his country for 4 years. Jr was married to his soulmate, Thomasine Roughface. They spent many happy years together raising their family.

Jr is survived by his wife of the home, children, Alfred Arkeketa, III, Rosetta Arkeketa and Mattie Arkeketa, Grandchildren, Thomasine Rhodd, Khaliah Rhodd, Francis Rhodd, Tailor CallsHim, Carl CallsHim, Devon Arkeketa, Damarah Arkeketa, Garrith Arkeketa, Alfred Arkeketa and Jacob Arkeketa.

Traditional Tribal Services will be held in Jr’s honor, concluding with the noon feast on Saturday, February 1, 2020 followed by the Funeral Service with Pastor Louis Headman presiding. Pallbearers will be Alfred Arkeketa, III, Alfred Arkekta, IV, Garrith Arkeketa, Bronc Arkeketa, Devon Arkeketa, Ben Arkeketa and Perry Arkeketa. Honorary Bearers will be Stevie Bear, Chuck Blueback, B.J. Roughface, Francis Rhodd, Keaton CallsHim, Jacob Arkeketa and Carl CallsHim.

Jr will be laid to rest in the Ponca Indian Cemetery.
