Michael “Grant” “Mizzle” Joseph Allen, resident of White Eagle, died on December 24, 2013. He was 31.

A traditional noon feast will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013 at Ponca Indian United Methodist Church, the funeral service will then follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Jim White, officiating. Burial will follow the service at Ponca Indian Cemetery under the direction of the Trout Funeral Home and Crematory.

Mike was born on April 12, 1982 to Michael James Allen and Jessica (Grant) Clark in Ponca City. He grew up in Ponca City where he attended school. Mike enjoyed barbequing with his family and friends. He also loved spending time with his kids. He will be greatly missed in the lives of many.

He is survived by his wife Renee Cortez and children; Demetrius, Octavia, and Kylie Allen of the home; Father, Michael James Allen of Shakopee, MN; Mother, Jessica Grant Clark of Livingston, TX; Best Friend, Antonio Morales; Sisters, Meldena Allen of Tulsa; Dee Kay Kent of Tulsa; Thelma Karty of Ponca City, Vashti “Marie” Karty of Ponca City; Brothers, Luther Kemble of Wichita, KS; McRay Kemble of Wichita, KS; Collins Roubideux of Ponca City; He is also survived by children, Nevaeh, Leila, Tatiana, Jaicia Allen and Talina Rhodd. He was preceded in death by grandparents Josephine Delodge Grant, Mary Rose Logan, Amos James Allen, Jesse Grant Sr.; uncles, Melburn “LeeBoy” Roy, Allernon Grant.

Casket bearers will be Tino Morales, Danny Boy Morales, EJ CallsHim, Melvin DeLodge, Josh Allen, BJ DeLodge, Toni DeLodge and Corey Grant.

Honorary Casketbearers will be Logan Dale Allen, Logan James Allen, Amos Allen, Timothy Allen, Joey Allen, Luther Kemble, McKay Kemble, and Albert Cole.
