Craig (Gator) Primeaux
March 16, 1950 - December 28, 2025
Craig (Gator) Primeaux, 75, beloved husband, father, grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on December 28, 2025. He entered this world on March 16, 1950, in Pawnee, OK, born to Amus Star and Nancy LeClair Primeaux.
Traditional noon feast and give away will be held January 1, 2026, in the Ponca Cultural Center with services to follow officiated by Pastor Jim White. Burial will follow in the Ponca Tribal Cemetery under the care of Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City, OK.
Craig served a tour of duty in the United States Navy and was honorable discharged in 1969. He met the love of his life, Mary Waters and they were married September 10, 1969, in white eagle and they made their first home in Rosswell New Mexico while Craig attended welding school. They later moved to Wichita, KS and then OKC so Craig could attend Sooner Trade School, upon graduating he moved his family back to Ponca City, OK. Craig enjoyed playing, Shinny, and Golf, cooking, watching OU Football and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Another favorite thing to do was pick wild Mushrooms.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Mary Primeaux of the home, children, Alexis Primeaux and Ira Primeaux and partner, Breez Warrior all of Ponca City, OK, grandchildren, Rex Eagle, April Eagle, Feather Eagle, Heaven Primeaux, Evony Primeaux, great granddaughter, Rylie Primeaux, seven great grandsons, James, Anthony, Davian, Brayan, Otis, Cedar, and Darious. brothers, Anthony Primeaux of OKC, OK and Roger Primeaux of Wichita, KS
Craig was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, one daughter, three brothers, and two sisters.
