Roland Cochise No Ear
February 11, 1975 ~ June 23, 2022 (age 47)

Roland "Cochise" NoEar, 47, "Wazhinga-Zi" (Yellowbird), was born on February 11, 1975 in Pawnee, Oklahoma, to Salina and Howard Todome. Cochise made his journey to the spirit world on June 23, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Cochise was a champion grass, fancy, and straight dancer who traveled all across the United States and Canada to powwow and make friends. He is a 1993 graduate of Sequoyah Indian High School in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He was known for his outgoing personality, gracious heart, and his crazy humor. He lived in a number of places across Indian Country and he will be greatly missed by many friends and relatives.

He is preceded in death by his great grandparents Salina King and Franklin Brown, grandfathers Calvin Douglas NoEar and Roland Noear Sr., uncles Douglas No Ear, Joey Whitehorn, and Browning NoEar, aunt Doreen No Ear, and cousin Dayne Whitehorn. Survivors include his grandmother Claudia Brown-Spicer, mother Salina NoEar-Todome, father Howard Todome, brothers Terrance Todome, Audie Todome, Rose Williams, Brooke Mitchell Hipps, Tracey Baker, Burl Buffalomeat, and Wesley Roy, uncles Sean Spicer and Paul Roubideaux, aunts Amy NoEar and Fern Buck, cousins: Roland Noear, Franklin Noear, Adele Noear, Sadie Red Eagle, Sofia Banegas, Hawk Hartico, Douglas Whitehawk, Danielle Shade, Douglas Whitehorn and nieces and nephews: Kayla Noear, Miya Noear, Daytin Bailey, Josie NoEar, and many others.

Wake and traditional services will take place at the Ponca Tribal Cultural Center in White Eagle, Oklahoma on Saturday, June 25, 2022. Graveside services will be on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at the Ponca Tribal Cemetery following the meal. Services are under the direction of Rev. Dr. Reverend Louis Headman.
