Virginia (Gives Water) Murray
March 8, 1938 ~ December 19, 2022 (age 84)

Virginia Murray, 84 years old, passed away on December 19, 2022 surrounded by family. She was born on March 8, 1938 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Stacy Gives Water and Irene Delodge. She was a 1956 graduate of Chilocco Indian School. She married Robert Leroy Murray, Sr and had 8 children. She worked as a dry cleanist/tailor.

Virginia was a dedicated mother and avid bingo player. She also enjoyed sewing, playing rummy, and being around her grandchildren as well as watching any sports. She was devoted to making her children and grandchildren's powwow regalia. Virginia will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2pm on December 22, 2022 at the Ponca Tribal Cultural Building in White Eagle, Oklahoma.
