Marcella Arkeketa Morgan
February 14, 1959 - January 18, 2025
Marcella Ann Arkeketa Morgan, 65, of Ponca City, OK, left this life on Saturday, January 18, 2025. Following the traditional noon feast, a funeral ceremony will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 23, 2025, at the Ponca Tribe Cultural Building. Burial will immediately follow at the Arkeketa Family Cemetery, Burr Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.
Marcella was born on Saturday, February 14, 1959, in Pawnee, OK, to Freeman R. and Myrtle Roy Arkeketa. She attended Chilocco Indian School and was a proud member of the Ponca Tribe.
Marcella is survived by: son, Bobby Joe Howe and his wife, Tonette, of Eagle Nest; daughters, Melva Jean Morgan, AKA Candy Hayes, Zabrina Ferguson, Paula Sue Ferguson, Patricia Ferguson, AKA Amy Turtle; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren, and companion, Bobby, of the home. She is preceded in death by: her parents, Freeman and Myrtle; brothers, Anthony Arkeketa, Freddy Arkeketa, Freeman R. Arkeketa, Jr.; sisters, Peggy Arkeketa, Melissa Arkeketa; and great-grandson, GleDnh Glezey Howe; great-granddaughter, KaVa Avarionna Howe.
Pallbearers will be: Tony Delodge, Carlos Arkeketa, Alfred Arkeketa, Jr., BJ Delodge, Carl Delodge and KW Cries for Ribs. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Hank Cornell, Eddy Arkeketa, Ben Arkeketa, Jr., George Cornell, Hank Cornell, Brandon Lieb, Harrison Daugomah, William Daugomah, and Joe Brown.
