Diane Marie (LittleSun) Johnson
May 19, 1965 - January 29, 2025

Diane Marie (LittleSun) Johnson, a beloved mother, sister, and doting grandmother, born on May 19, 1965, in Pawnee, Oklahoma, departed this life on January 29, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 59.

To know Diane was to savor the joy of unfiltered conversations, laughter, and unwavering love. She especially loved her grandchildren.

Diane's legacy will continue through her loving family, which includes her daughters, Sara Emerson and Courtney Emerson, as well as her sons, Zachary LittleSun and Jeremiah LittleSun. She is also survived by her biological mother, Elizabeth Waters, and her siblings, including brothers Mark Buffalohead, Matthew LittleSun, and Joshua LittleSun, along with sisters Deanna Castillo and Delicia Chavez. Diane was also blessed with 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, who will cherish her memory.

She is reunited in eternal peace with her late parents, James and Janet LittleSun, and her brother Jay Isham, leaving behind a legacy of love and memories that will live on through her family.

Diane's beautiful spirit will remain alive in the stories shared and the love passed down to future generations. She will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered in the hearts of all who knew her.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, February 3rd, 2025, 2 p.m., at the Ponca Cultural Center after the traditional noon feast. Burial will follow at the Ponca Tribal Cemetery.
