Holly Linette Hunt
December 24, 1972 - June 27, 2023
A beloved Nana, mother, daughter and sister, Holly Pickett Hunt passed away on June 27th 2023. Holly was born December 24th, 1972 to Johnny Pickett and Julia Whitestar Pickett in Pawnee OK. She was an outgoing, friendly and giving person. She was a joy to be around and known for her kindness and heart her of gold. She enjoyed music, playing pool and as an avid book reader, horror being her favorite genre, she also spent her time watching movies. She cherished her children and loved her animals.
She married Robert Hunt in 1985, they were together for 30 years. She had 3 daughters, Brendajo Whitestar, who proceeded her in death, January 18th, 2005. Summer Tapp, Amber Hunt as well as 2 grand children. She is also survived by 6 sisters. Brenda Begay, Jo Ann Springwater, Julia Whitestar and Lee Picket, all of Ponca City. Lori Pickett Keebler and Linda Pickett Goldsberry of Biloxi Mississippi.
She is preceded in death by her Grandparents Reverend Stanford and Faye Whitestar, her parents, her sister Lanell Sizemore.
A celebration of Holly's life will be June 30th 2023 at Ponca Indian United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim White officiating. Services starting at 2pm followed by a traditional feast being served at noon and burial service at the Ponca Cemetery.
