Dolores Calls Him
February 12, 1968 - March 16, 2025
Delores Naomi Calls Him, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister passed away at the age of 57 in Omaha, NE.
Delores was born in Pawnee, Oklahoma, and was raised by her devoted father, Rev. George Calls Him Jr, whose influence shaped her strong faith in Jesus and God.
Delores was deeply loved and adored by her late husband, Joseph White Star Sr., with whom she shared a lasting bond. Together, they raised nine children, nurturing them with love, faith, and a strong sense of family. Delores poured her heart into her family, creating a home filled with warmth and love. Her devotion to them was unwavering, and her legacy lives on in each of her children and grandchildren.
A woman of God, Delores found strength in her faith and carried it with grace throughout her life. She took great joy in simple pleasures. She could often be found savoring a cup of coffee, sharing laughter over family dinners, or reminiscing about fond memories with her children and siblings. Delores's home was always a welcoming place, where family and loved ones gathered to share in the joy of life.
She was a proud OU Sooners fan. She enjoyed shopping, collecting special items, and expressing her creativity through arts and crafts, including drawing and sketching. Delores was also well known in her favorite salon, where she enjoyed getting her nails done. Her independent nature and love for self-expression were evident in everything she did, and she took pride in maintaining her independence throughout her life.
Delores also enjoyed moments spent walking with her children and grandchildren by the river.
Above all, Delores was a woman of deep roots and a profound connection to her family. She held her grandchildren's mementos close to her heart, finding joy in the little things. Her love for her family, her faith, and life will never be forgotten.
She is proceeded in death by her father George Calls Him Jr. and mother Imogene Primeaux. Her brothers George Calls Him III, Elden Calls Him, Edward Calls Him Sr., Elwood Sonny Calls Him Sr., Mark V. Calls Him Sr., and sister Kaiya Primeaux.
