George Ezu Woodall of Ponca City passed away peacefully in his home with family by his side on Wednesday, March 5th, 2014 at the age of 67.
George was born in Ponca City on August 7th, 1946 to the late George and Edna Woodall of Ponca. George proudly served in the US Army where he was primarily stationed in Germany, and returned to Ponca City after an honorable discharge where he worked for the Ponca City Public School system for thirtyfive years.
George is survived by his loving wife of thirtyone years, Linda Woodall, of Ponca City as well as his four children Debra Blais of Bartlesville, Nancy Woodall of Sapulpa, Kathy Mathes of Bartlesville, and James Woodall of Sapulpa. George also has one sister, Leora Burnsteel of Arizona, and two brothers Charles Woodall, and John Woodall of Ponca City.
George has twelve grandchildren Lilly King, Kristen Blais, Lyric and Gideon Mathes, Shelby, Chris, Timothy, and Stephen Dodson, Krystal Frost, Adrianna Bridgman, E.J. Bridgman and Stephanie Matamoros. George also has four great grandchildren Elliot and Cohen King, and Jacqlynn Jocelynn Blais.
Family will receive friends from 2 p.m. 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Grace Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2014 at Central Baptist Church, with Pastor John Waterloo officiating. Burial will follow in I.O.O.F. Cemetery of Ponca City, OK. Casket Bearers will be Scott Schramko, Virgil Crook, Donnie Edwardson, E.J. Bridgman, John Mathes and James Woodall.
