November 10, 1933 - November 13, 2022
Troy Ray Waite, 89, of Ponca City, OK, went to see his Lord and Savior on November 13, 2022. Viewing will be Tuesday, November 15, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Trout Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at the Bible Baptist Church with Pastor John Waterloo and TomTom Ketchum officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Odd Fellow's Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.
Troy was born on November 10, 1933, in Konawa, OK, to Charlie and Mary Jane (Chitwood) Waite. He owned and operated Ponca Hotoiler Service in the Ponca City area until his retirement. He was a long-time member of the Bible Baptist Church in Ponca City. His greatest joy and love was his family. He loved the chaos of a house full of grandkids, but "SHUT THE DOOR."
Troy is survived by: his wife, Betty, of the home; sons, Danny Waite of Ponca City, OK, Richard Waite and his wife, Laura, of Ponca City, OK; daughter, Tammy Hopkins and her husband, Matt, of Ponca City, OK; granddaughter, Kristy Smith of Ponca City, OK; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Cain and her husband, Gary; daughter-in-law, ViAnn Waite and great-grandson, Linkon Archer Cooper.
