Steven was born September 19, 1987, in Ponca City. Steven was the cherished son of Wendy Wilson and Don Simmons. Stevens' life had always had an extra challenge to it as he had struggled the majority of his life with renal failure, in recent years, heart and liver complications. However, that never stopped him from doing the things he loved, such as hunting, fishing, four-wheeling in God's country, art, reading, video games, but most importantly spending precious time with family and friends. Stevens' passing is bittersweet as our hearts break, but we also rejoice that he is no longer bound by his mortal body and is now with his Savior, Jesus Christ. Passage bookmarked in a Bible used by Steven; 1 Corinthians 15:42-45.

Steven was preceded in death by: grandparents, Karen Hoskins McGarvin, Gary Simmons, Grant Armstrong, Richard Rush Dewey Wilson; uncle and aunt, Randy and Pam Wilson. Steven is survived by: his mother, Wendy (Gary)Wilson; his father, Don (Robin) Simmons; sisters, Jessica (Kelsey) Geheb, Anna (Nicholas) Spears; niece, Opal Spears; step-brother, Dakota (Isabella) Bailey; nephews, Rowdy and Dawson Bailey; grandparents, Kathie Armstrong, Wendell (Betty) McGarvin, Eve Wilson, Doretta Simmons; beloved aunts, Rita McGarvin, Carol Reed; his favorite little man, Kadyen Biddle; best friends and pallbearers, Sam Simmons, Justin Caffey, Doug Dunn, Hunter Fusselman, Kirby Scott, and Kyle Jenkins; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins that loved him dearly.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
