August 13, 1957 - January 3, 2020

Kevin Louis Roland, Lifelong resident of Ponca City, passed away Friday, January 3rd, 2020, at his home surrounded by family. He was 62 years of age.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00am at Grace Memorial Chapel Wednesday, January 8th, 2020 with the Rev. Jonathan Roland, Pastor of New Testament Christian Center in Katy TX, presiding. The burial will immediately follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel. Daytime visitation will be at the funeral home from 9:00am to 4:00pm Tuesday January 7, 2020.

Kevin was born August 13, 1957 in Ponca City, the son of Helen and the late Rev. Isaiah Roland. He grew up in Ponca city and graduated from Ponca City High School. He loved landscaping, playing dominos, fishing and hunting and spending time with Family and friends at his office in the ville. He also had a way of giving his niece and grandchildren unique names like Fenster, Frog, Bacon, Squirrel, and Peanut.

He is survived by his Significant Other; LaVette Coburn, stepchildren; Quenten and Daja, Children; Patrick Roland, Christopher Price, December Price, Samantha Stewart-Poe (Christopher) and a host of Nieces, Nephews and Grandchildren. His brothers; Atum Kharare, Rev. Jonathan Roland (Ethel), and Issac Roland. Sister’s include Rhobbie Dorsey (Alonzo), Angela Bobb, Pauletta Machebe (Ben), Sherri Pollard (Raymond) Lucretia Williams. He was preceded in death by his Son Lawrence Edgar Roland, Father Rev. Isaiah Roland, Brothers Kenneth Roland and Ricky Harris, Sister Lucinda Williams, and Uncle George Roland.
