Ann Marie Roberts, resident of Ponca City, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at the Ponca City Medical Center. She was 54.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 21, 2011 at the Trout Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alan Jones, officiating. Burial will follow at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Ponca City. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.
Ann was born on July 1, 1956 to Billy Lee Campbell and Clara Belle (Hague) Campbell in Oklahoma City, OK. Ann graduated from PO-HI in 1974. While attending high school, she participated in Chorals and was a Dynomighter. She went on to receive her bachelor's degree in education from Oklahoma State University. While attending OSU, she belonged to the Kappa Delta Pi Education Honor Society. She was also placed on the President's Honor Roll. She was later named in Who's Who In American Education as well as Who's Who in South-Southwest Educators. In 1979 she married Chris Roller from Ponca City. They were blessed with two beautiful daughters Jamie Renee Roller and Christa Maria Roller Jones. In 1984 she married Dave Roberts and they were blessed with another beautiful daughter Cari Ann Roberts. They operated and ran the Osage Meat Market for 26 years until the business was sold in July of 2010. Ann was always active in her home, church, and many other actives while raising her three daughters. Ann enjoyed to read but most of all she loved her family and her Lord with all her heart and was ready to quote scripture for any situation.
She is survived by her loving companion of nine years Whiley McCormick; her loving mother Clara Campbell; her brother David Campbell; three daughters: Jamie Roller of Ponca City, Christa Jones and her husband Alan of Ponca City, and Cari Ann Roberts of Edmond, OK; step child Jessica Roberts of Ponca City; nine grandchildren: Levi Hoover of Colorado, Maddison Goan of Kansas, Caleb Mull of Ponca City, Serenity Roller Jones, Hannah Roller Jones, Carma Roller, Aaron Jones, Gunnar Leaming, and Faith Leaming.
She is preceded in death by her father Billy Lee Campbell of Ponca City.
Casketbearers will be Billy Box, Sergio Hernandez, Sergio Trevizo, Ivan Trevizo, Jeremy McCormick, and Gary Roberts.
