Seventy-One years ago, a son was born to George Austin Roquemore and May Dell (Mace) Roquemore, in the small historic town of Ponca City, Oklahoma. He was saved by Christ in 1973, from there went on to start a jail ministry that lasted many years. He had become an ordained minister and started spreading the word of Christ.

He began working at Titus and later retired after being the Local 464 Union Business Manager. On December 28th, 1990 he married Cheri Lambert They have been married for 31 years. If you knew Rolland, you knew he was going to break out into song.

Rolland and Cheri loved to travel. He would map out their destinations and just get on the road. They enjoyed traveling to many states. He enjoyed being involved with his men's bible study, stamp club and going through boxes upon boxes of baseball cards, coin collecting and going to card shows. He had many hobbies. That was the man he was, more of Rolland's hobbies included spending time with friends, family, speaking of theology, history, music, playing guitar, calling dear friends on the telephone, political discussion, current events and most of all, he always turned a conversation into remembering the importance of God's grace and to always walk humbly through life. He always said, "Yesterday has already happened, tomorrow is never promised and to always remember that nothing would be possible if not by God's grace.
