Marva Dawn RILEE

Ponca City I O O F Cemetery

Marva Dawn Rilee
January 5, 1948 - December 26, 2025

Marva Dawn Colwell Rilee, age 77, of Perry, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2025 after spending a wonderful Christmas with her loving family. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 505 Thunderbird Rd, Tonkawa, OK, 74653.

Born on January 5, 1948 in Ponca City, Oklahoma, Marva was the daughter of Jesse and Nyna Colwell. She grew up with a deep love for Elvis Presley, card games, word searches, game shows, painting, reading, and spending time with her family, a trait that shaped her life and inspired those around her. Marva married William Rilee I in 1972, and together they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and love. She was a devoted mother to William Rilee II, Roneill Rilee, Billie Fryar, and Coby Rilee, always encouraging them to follow their dreams and reminding them that faith is the greatest gift we can give.

She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, witty humor, unwavering faith, sending cards to everyone to brighten their day, and the way she made sure everyone was fed and happy at her home (especially with her famous treat & potatoes). Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched and the memories we will all cherish.

Marva is preceded in death by her mother and father, Jesse and Nyna Colwell; husband, William Rilee I; brother, Darris Colwell; two sisters, Mary Ellen Moore and Janet Tudor; sister-in-law, Linda Colwell; nephew, Randy Colwell; and great-granddaughter, Sabrie Larkins.

Marva is survived by her children, William, Roneill, Coby Rilee, and Billie Fryar; siblings, Darryl Colwell and Damaris Russell; nieces and nephews, Ryan, Johna, and Mitzi Russell; great-nephews, Brandon Cords, DJ and Seth Scott; grandchildren, Wendy, Mistie, and Wesley Fryar, and Savannah, Preston, and Stormy Rilee; great-grandchildren, Anabelle, Elizabeth, and Sebastian Story, as well as many other family members.

A celebration of her life will be held on January 2nd at Tonkawa Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Trout Funeral Home in her honor.

Her love was a light in our lives, and though she is gone from our sight, she will remain forever in our hearts.
