“Boo-Boo” as most knew her or Linda Carolyn Vickers Powelson was born August 15th 1940 in Ponca City Ok. She passed away Friday September 14th 2018. Linda’s parents were Joe S. Vickers and Lela Cantrell Vickers both of Ponca City.
Linda was proceeded in death by her granddaughter Jaden Siler, which she lovingly called Jadie, her parents Joe and Lela of Ponca City, older Brother Joe and wife Pearl Vickers of Ponca City, and older sister Dorothy and husband G.B. Henderson of Houston Tx.
Linda is survived by her two children; Linda’s daughter Nancy Siler and husband Jim. Their children, son Jakob Siler and wife Sharon, daughter Saige; Daughter Jemma Ryan and husband Alek, sons Dasche and Maddan. Linda’s son Sean Grigsba and wife Julie. Their children, Clay Grigsba and wife Jessica, baby to be, Baby G, Rowdy Grigsba and Lucas Grigsba; as well as three nephews and one niece.
Also several cats across Kay County.
Linda graduated from PoHi in 1958. She spent most of her life in Ponca City as she bought and sold antiques, western artifacts and used furniture. She started “Linda’s Corner” at 2nd and Comanche in the late 70’s. Later moved to Hartford and Union in the 80’s, then opening another store, “Hens Nest” at 14th and South Avenue before retiring due to health complications in 1996. However, Linda will always and forever be known as Boo-Bo, and forever loved.
A graveside f unreal service will be held for Linda on Thursday, September 20, 2018 10:00 a.m. at the IOOF Cemetery in Ponca City.
