Jack Neal Montgomery, resident of Osage County, passed Sunday, November 13, 2011 at his home. He was 75 years of age.

Jack was born June 11, 1936 in Ponca City, the son of Carrol Bill Montgomery and Rose Zelphia Hall Montgomery. His early education was in the Ponca City schools.

He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1955, the Air Force in 1956 and retired from the Army in 1976. He had served as a Chief Warrant Officer II. He served his country in both the Korean War and Vietnam War. After his retirement from the military he began employment with Smith International in 1977, retiring in 1990 as a maintenance manager. Jack was married to Belinda McMahan on December 29, 1988 in Miami, Oklahoma.

Jacks enjoyments included his grandchildren, who always made him smile in earlier years he enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. Jack had a green thumb and raised some gorgeous flowers and had raised many fruits and vegetables throughout the years. He also was fond of raising his many chickens, as he called them his girls.

He is survived by his wife, Belinda Nan Montgomery his daughters Sally Pass of Florida and Colletta Terrell of Ponca City his son, Bobby Montgomery of Clinton, Oklahoma other children by marriage, Jeremiah Moore and wife, Ryan, of Udall, Kansas, Joshua Moore and wife, Toni, of Ponca City, Christi Moore of Ponca City and Justin Barrow of Ponca City sisterinlaw, Yvonne Montgomery of Ponca City and Mary Montgomery of Florida grandchildren, Sunshine Warren, Hugh Terrell, Bailee Moore, Hanna Moore, Emma Moore, Jayce Moment, Taylyn Moore and Baby Boy Moore who will carry Mr. Montgomerys middle name great grandchildren, Christina and Kyle Montgomery, Madison, Lydia, Savannah Terrell numerous nephews, nieces and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Woody and Rose Montgomery 4 brothers, Carroll Bill Pete Montgomery Jr., Jim Montgomery, Tome Montgomery and infant Robert Montgomery 1 sister, Dorothy Carruth his wife of 33 years, Blossom Montgomery.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 16th at Grace Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Grace Memorial Chapel with Foursquare Church Pastor Blaine Herron presiding. Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery of Ponca City where the United States Army will provide full military honors for Mr. Montgomery.
