Helena Meyers
The Kay County Sun
September 15, 1898
Submitted by: Mollie Stehno

Miss Helena Meyers passed away Monday after an illness of five months, of that dread disease consumption. She was the daughter of Charles Meyers, who lies four miles northeast of this city. She was just entering the prime of life when she was called to that home above, being only 23 years of age.
The funeral services were held at the M. E. church Tuesday by Rev. Oglevee, pastor of the Presbyterian Church at Ponca City. The body was interred in the I.O.O.F. cemetery being followed by a large procession.
