Betty McNeal longtime Ponca City resident passed away Tuesday evening September 19, 2017 in Oklahoma City. She was 92 years of age. She was born November 6, 1924 in Villisca, Iowa to Cecil Stanley and Olive Grace Garver Gill. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Ponca City, OK with Rev. Robert McGuire officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City, OK.

Betty grew up in Iowa and she married the love of her life George ''Russell'' McNeal on October 6, 1942 in Marysville, Missouri and they made their home in Villisca, Iowa. She moved to Ponca City in 1964 with her family. She was a member of the Asbury United Methodist church and she enjoyed oil painting, gardening and reading her Bible.

Survivors include her 2 sons; Jack McNeal of Ponca City, OK Joe McNeal of Tulsa, OK and 1 daughter: Gwen McMahill and husband Rick of Raleigh, N. Carolina. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Husband in 1993, Daughter in law Pam McNeal in 2015, 1 brother and 1 sister.
