Funeral Services are pending for Mrs. Wood
Funeral services are pending at the Gill Funeral Home Monday afternoon for Mrs. Perry Wood, 82, who died at her home 502 South Seventh street earlier in the day.
Mrs. Wood had lived in Ponca City for 40 years. She was born Nov. 1, 1861 at Newton, Ill.; and came to Oklahoma from that state. Her husband is among survivors.
Other survivors are two sons, John D. Wood, Fort Smith, Ark.; and Harry V. Wood, Ponca City. two daughters, Mrs. Della Rees of the home, and Mrs. Joe Swoboda, of Omaha, Neb.; also surviving is a granddaughter, Miss Della Wood, Arkansas City, Kans. formerly of Ponca City. A daughter and 2 grandsons preceded her in death.
