Stephen William Luis, age 44, of Moore, Oklahoma passed away, Thursday, April 28, 2016 at his home in Moore, Oklahoma.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 6, 2016 at the Central Baptist Church with the Pastor John Waterloo officiating. Burial will follow in the Odd Fellow Cemetery under the direction of the Grace Memorial Chapel.
Visitation hours will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 5, 2016 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Grace Memorial Chapel. Friends may leave online condolences at www.gracememorialchapel.net.
Stephen was born May 19, 1971 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Ronnie and Janice (Lee) Luis. He grew up in Ponca City and graduated from the Ponca City High School in 1991 where he was the mascot. Stephen also graduated from NOC in the Medical Field. He worked at the OU Medical Center before working at the ST. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Stephen performed in the Oklahoma Kids Theater, and loved cars, OU football, his cat ''Socks'', doing home interior work, singing and being around friends and family always making everyone laugh. Stephen would do anything for anyone and will be missed dearly by anyone who knew him.
Survivors include his mother and step father Janice and Robert Norvell SR. of Ponca City, Oklahoma; siblings Shana Carpenter and husband Scott of Copperas Cove, Texas, Robert Norvell JR. and wife Maria of Ponca City, Oklahoma and Amanda & husband Matt Jones of Ponca City, Oklahoma; step sisters Deanna Jones and husband Todd and Christina Kinder both of Carney, Oklahoma; seven nephews, four nieces, one great nephew and many aunt, uncles & cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Ronnie, maternal grandparents John & Marcella Lee, and paternal grandparents Kenny & Clara Payne
