Glenwood Kidder Obit

Glenwood (Doc) Kidder, 53, of Wichita, son of Mrs. H. R. Kidder and the late Dr. Kidder, died Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Wichita after an illness of a year.
He was born Dec 24, 1911,I n Ponca City and received his education here. He was employed here. He was employed by the fire department from 1931 until 1941, when he attended an aircraft school at Memphis. For the past 14 years he has been an aircraft inspector with Cessna Aircraft Company in Wichita.
Kidder was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Surviving him as his wife of the home, 510 South Spruce, Wichita, a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Ann Artz of Los Angeles, his mother, one brother, Lyal F. of Derby, and two grandchildren; George Edward Schwarz and Jack Allen Schwarz of 603 South Fourth.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of the Broadway Mortuary of Wichita. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Odd Fellows Cemetery here with the Rev. Dr. Jerold McBride, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be under the direction of the Grace Memorial Chapel.
