Robert “Bob” Paul Irwin passed away at ManorCare Nursing Home in Tulsa, OK on January 6, 2015, one day before his 90th birthday. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Grace Memorial Chapel with Rev Rick Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.

Bob was born January 7, 1925 to Paul Martin Irwin and Grace Edith (Collins) Irwin. He was one of the last children to be born on the 101 Ranch. He loved to tell stories of the 101 Ranch and his extended family's time living there. Later he grew up and attended school s in the Ponca City area. He married Mary Leona Davis on July 31, 1943. The couple made their home in Ponca City for several years and then moved in 1946 to a farm several miles west of "Old" Kaw City where they continued to live and farm until 1967 when construction was begun on the Kaw Dam and Reservoir. They relocated to a farm in Osage County, east of Ponca City where they continued to live and farm until 1995 when due to health issues they decided to reside in Ponca City.

Bob also worked as a welder for Cities Service, Sequoia, and Conoco Oil companies retiring after 42 years of service.

Survivors include his wife Mary of ManorCare Nursing Home, Tulsa, OK; his daughter Sharon Irwin Jones and her husband Dwight of Burke, VA; his daughter Paula Irwin Scott and her husband Jim of Broken Arrow, OK; his daughter Marilyn Irwin Perciful of Ponca City; and his son Martin (Marty) Irwin and his wife Pam of Ponca City. In addition there are eight grandchildren: Rachel Jones Domencic, Sarah Jones, Kyle Scott, Brian Scott, Adam Perciful, Amy Perciful, Aaron Peddicord, and Alex Peddicord. Also there are seven great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Brayden, and Jordan Domencic; Noelle Scott; Broden, Braily, and Braden Perciful.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his sister Nora Laverne Irwin Higginbotham and infant great-granddaughters Angelina and Savannah Domencic.
