Danny L. Hesket longtime Ponca City resident passed away Tuesday evening, May 7, 2019 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was 68 years of age. Danny was born October 24, 1950 in Arkansas City, Kansas to Dale and Leona L. Stone Hesket.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2019 in the Grace Memorial Chapel with Pastor Justin Pickup Hospice Chaplain officiating. Interment will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Visitation will be at Grace Memorial Chapel Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 3p.m. to 8 p.m. Arrangements are in care of Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City, OK.
Danny grew up in Ark City and moved to Ponca City in the 1980’s he met the love of his life Suanna “Sue” Delaney and they were married June 14, 1968 and made their home in Ponca City. Danny and Sue renewed their vows on September 5, 1986. Danny worked for the Sante Fe railroad and he was transferred to Moore, OK and he returned to Ponca City in 1991. Danny enjoyed Fishing, Camping and boating.
Survivors include; Wife Sue of the home, 1 son; Billy C. Hesket and wife Virginia, 1 daughter; Cally Sue Tull and husband Bill, all of Ponca City, OK, Mother; Leona Hesket of Ark City, Kansas. Grandchildren: Nicole Hesket, Michael Marsh, Brandi Hesket, Hunter Suggs, Gage Tull, Cassandra Hesket and Griffin Tull, 2 Great grandchildren; Lilith Hesket and Xander Morgan. He is also survived by his brother; Marvin Hesket of Wichita, KS, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Danny was preceded in death by his Father, grandson; B.J. Hesket, 1 great granddaughter; Ella Hesket and 1 brother; James Hesket.
