Betty J. Hearne Longtime Ponca City resident passed away Monday, October 24, 2016 with her family at her side. She was 62 years of age. Betty was born October 2, 1954 in Ponca City, OK to Vernus H. and Blanche L. Lawson Bookout.

Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, October 28, 2016 in the Odd Fellows Cemetery with Pastor Jack Adams officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Grace Memorial Chapel. Betty lived all her life in Ponca City and she was a housekeeper for several in the Ponca City area. She enjoyed cooking, Reading her Bible, Drinking Coffee and always surfing the Internet learning ways to improve her health and life. She was a member of the New Hope Christian Fellowship of Ponca City, OK.

Survivors include: 2 sons; Vernus Kendrick of Ponca City, OK and Travis Hearne and wife Brandi of Tonkawa, OK; 1 daughter; Bobbie Johnson of Ponca City, OK 2 brothers; Buddy Bookout and wife Beth and Gary Bookout ; 1 sister; Debbie Colwell and husband Rod all of Ponca City, OK Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son: Vinson Kendrick and 1 brother; Alan Bookout.
