Raymond Travis Griffin longtime Ponca City resident passed away Tuesday morning, October 15, 2019 in Ponca City, OK. He was born July 6, 1926 in Ponca City to Harry and Bertha Griffin.
Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Friday October 18, 2019 in the Odd Fellows Cemetery with Pastor Roy Edwards officiating.
Travis grew up in Katy county and he worked for Western Union as a telegraph operator for several years and he also delivered the Daily Oklahoman. Travis enjoyed spending time with family, reading, going for walks and watching TV he was also a member of the 1st Nazarene Church.
Survivors include: 1 sister Ruby Bechtel of Ponca City and several Nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister; Lola Romary, 1 brother Paul Griffin and 1 nephew; Stan Bechtel.
