October 23, 1933 - August 27, 2023

Bonnie Arlene Gray, longtime Ponca City resident, died peacefully surrounded by her children on Sunday, August 27. She was 89.

A Vigil Service will be held Thursday, August 31, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at Trout Funeral Home in Ponca City, OK. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 1, 2023, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Reverand Carson Krittenbrink as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Columbarium. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.

Bonnie was born October 23, 1933, in Alva, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of William V. and Anna (Lyons) Montgomery. Bonnie graduated from St. Mary's Catholic School in Ponca City in 1951. She and Stephen A. Gray were united in marriage on November 12, 1955, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ponca City.

Bonnie worked various jobs outside the home, including Dr. Cohenour, Lee Labs, Kay County Treasurer's office, and Conoco Facility Services. Numerous times throughout her life, Bonnie's selfless spirit was demonstrated as she cared for others, whether family or friend, during times of need or illness. However, her greatest passion was raising her family which consisted of 6 children, 20 grandchildren and their spouses, 20 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Survivors include her six children: Stephen L. Gray (Lisa) of Oklahoma City; Anna Randol (Jeff), Paul Gray (Janel); Maria Villines (Stan); Greg Gray (Shannon) all of Ponca City, OK, and Tim Gray (Mary) of Stillwater, OK; grandchildren: Jennifer Gray, Keri Gray, Desiree Wathor (Corbi), Sandra Randol, Jerrod Gray (Amy), Shane Gray (Ryann), A.J. Ormand (Kandi), Katy Ormand, Kelli Villines, Kory Villines (Katie), Cecil Villines (Ashley), Kyle Villines, Clint Villines (Jamie), Chase Gray (Katie), Ashley Duke (Tyler), Austin Gray, Colton Gray, Bryan Gray, Emily Gray, Drew Gray (Cierra) as well as 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

She was proceeded in death by her parents; three brothers, Bill Montgomery, Joseph "Bud" Montgomery, and John Montgomery; four sisters, Eileen Burgell, Maxine Irons, Katherine "Jackie" House, and Eleanor Leven.
