Frankenfield Dies At His Home Here
A heart attack was fatal about 8:30 Thursday night for Norman H. Frankenfield, 58 , who died at his home 300 South Ash street. The city resusitator was called to the scene, but efforts to revive him failed.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Evangelical United Brethern church with the Rev. L. H. Sander , pastor, officiating. He will be assisted by the Rev. W. D. McGraw, Jr., Nazarene minister. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery with the E. M,. Trout and Sons funeral home in charge.
Frankenfield came to Ponca City from Wichita in 1929. He worked for the old Marland Oil company, the Continental Oil Company, and during the war, was employed by the government at Pearl Harbor in the Hawaiian Islands. Because of ill health, he was forced to retire four years ago.
A boilermaker by trade, Frankenfield was a member of the International Boilermakers association, the Security Benefit association and the Evangelical church.
He was born in Oklahoma City on Sept. 19, 1890, and was married in Pittsburg, Kan., on Sept. 4, 1917.
Surviving him are the widow of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Paul Kolb of Orlando, Mrs. Dan Ward of Ponca City and Miss Ann Frankenfield of the home; two sons Keith and Jimmie Frankenfield, both of the home; and two brothers, Lloyd and Dewey Frankenfield, Mo.
His parents, one brother, one sister and a granddaughter preceded him in death.

MRS. FRANKENFIELD'S SERVICES ARE HELD MONDAY MORNING
Final rites for Mrs. Ellen L. Frankenfield, 300 South Ash, were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at the Evangelical United Brethren Church by the Rev. L. H. Sander. Burial was in the family lot at the IOOF Cemetery under direction of E. M. Trout and Sons Funeral Home.
Mrs. Frankenfield, widow of N. H. Frankenfield, died Friday at Benedictine Heights Hospital, Guthrie, of injuries received in an automobile accident April 4 near Coyle.
Pallbearers were Charles Titus, Floyd Parrish, Charles Holt, Joe Hamrick, Howell Aden, Gene Schmid, Orville Siler and James Hastings.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. William F. Howell, 1510 South Seventh, Mrs. Dan Ward, Pleasant View, and Mrs. Paul Kolb, Chandler; two sons, Keith , Oklahoma City, and Jimmy, Paducah, KY.; a sister, Mrs. C. A. Gilchrist, Indianapolis, Ind.; a brother, George Kurley, Pittsburg, Kan., and four grandchildren.
