Louise Franke, resident of Ponca City, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2011, at the Ponca City Medical Center. She was 92.
The service was held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 31, 2011, at the Trout Funeral Home Chapel, with her nephew, Rev. Tom Donaldson, officiating.
Louise was born February 4, 1918, to Aaron Welsh Donaldson and Amy Lee (Cartmell) in Fairmont, Ok. She graduated from Pioneer High School in Garfield County. On November 27, 1937, she married Willis E. Franke in Guthrie, Ok. After their marriage, Louise and Willis farmed and ranched in the Afton, Enid, and Ponca City areas until their retirement.
She is survived by her two daughters; Saundra Cruse and her husband Ron of Edmond and Linda Wilson and her husband Bob of Bartlesville; one son-in-law, Joe Bartlett of Ponca City; one sister, Betty Dillingham of Waukomis; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willis Franke; daughter, Joan Bartlett; and four brothers and two sisters.

The funeral for Willis E. Franke, 88, of Ponca City, will be Thursday at 10 a.m., at Trout Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Tom Donaldson will officiate. Burial will be in Ponca City IOOF Cemetery.
He was born July 25, 1917, in Garfield County to Charlie Gus and Jessie Mae Dillingham Franke and died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2006, at Shawn Manor Nursing Center
He married Louise Donaldson Nov. 27, 1937, in Guthrie. He farmed and ranched in the Afton, Ponca City and Enid areas.
Surviving are his wife, Louise, of the home; three daughters, Saundra Cruse of Edmond, Joan Bartlett of Ponca City and Linda Wilson of Bartlesville; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
