Tracy Dearl Davis, resident of Ponca City, OK passed away on December 18, 2019 at the Alliance Health Hospital in Ponca City. He was 60 years of age.
Graveside Services were held on Friday December 20, 2019 at the Ponca City I.O.O. F Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Wildman officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Tracy was born on August 9, 1959 in Blackwell, Oklahoma, the son of Donald Claude Davis and Barbara Jean (Allard) Davis. He received his education in the Blackwell Schools, graduating in 1977.
After Graduation he started a career with the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company which later became know as A T & T, as a repairman in the Blackwell area. He was later transferred to Missouri in 1983 where he continued to work as a repairman until his retirement in January of 2008. He then came back to Ponca City. On December 28, 2012 he married Roxane Salisbury at Miami, Oklahoma.
Tracy was a very sentimental man. He was a musician and singer. He played the drums and harmonica. He loved to write poetry and songs. He was a "Word Guy" as he was always talking. He loved his home out in the country and was vocally thankful everyday for being able to live there.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Barbara Davis.
He is survived by his loving wife, Roxane, of the home and a brother Gary Lee Davis of Ponca City, OK as well as several nieces and also his faithful loving yellow Lab, named "Tank" who went everywhere with him.
