Mark Anthony Chamberlain, resident of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away to greet his father in Heaven Saturday, December 3, 2016 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. At the age of 53. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, December 9, 2016 at Sunset Baptist Church in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Oddfellows Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Joe Chamberlain, Brian Chamberlain, David Chamberlain, Larry Maupin, Ricky Maupin, and Terry Harmon. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home and Crematory.
Mark Anthony Chamberlain was born September 7, 1963 on Labor Day in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Estle and Carol Chamberlain. The middle sibling of his two brothers, Brian and Joe Chamberlain. He graduated from Ponca City High School in 1982, and went on to attend Pioneer Technology Center. He worked with his father at the Chamberlain Auto Repair for several years and later served in the United States Military. Mark worked various jobs and found his love in driving semi's. He was a part of many trucking companies, his last being Shuster Trucking. Though his health was declining he couldn't wait to get well and drive a big rig again. Mark married Linda Rogers in 1992 and they lived in Kansas, Nebraska, Texas, and finally back in Oklahoma. They were blessed with their daughter Anita in 1999. Mark loved fishing, camp fires, singing, and art. He was a lifetime member of Sunset Baptist Church. Mark is preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his daughter, Anita Chamberlain of the home; mother, Carol Chamberlain; brothers, Brian Chamberlain and Joe Chamberlain all of Ponca City. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces , nephews, and cousins.
