Dorothy Ann Campbell, age 70, of Ponca City, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday August 10, 2019.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2 PM on, Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Central Baptist Church with Pastor John Waterloo officiating. Dorothy will be laid to rest at Odd Fellows Cemetery following the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.
Dorothy was born on March 2, 1949 in Ponca City, to Lawrence Gilbert and Dorothy Jean (Hoskins) Eaton. Dorothy was a Certified Nurse Aide for Westminster Village. She enjoyed playing Bingo, Bunko and card games. She loved going to the casino and watching westerns on TV. As well, OU Sooner football received Dorothy's support at every opportunity. She was baptized at Sunset Baptist Church and spent many hours reading the Bible. She loved her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Dorothy is survived by her son, John Campbell and his wife, Rene of Pond Creek, Oklahoma; daughters; Lori Braucht and her husband, David of Ponca City, Tammy Burke and her husband, Brady of Ponca City; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Janie Lambert and her husband, Randy of Ponca City, Jackie Taylor and her husband, Gary of Ponca City; brother, Buster Eaton; numerous family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by: husband, John Melvin Campbell; parents; grandson, Micah Braucht and her dog, Snookie.
Pallbearers are Josh Huisman, Gary Taylor, Randy Lambert, Brady Burke, Johnston Burke. Honorary pallbearer is David Braucht.
