David Lee Campbell, resident of Ponca City, passed away Monday, November 26, 2012, at his residence. He was 52. The service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, November 29, 2012 at the New Hope Church with Pastor Jack Adams, officiating. Burial will then follow at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Ponca City, Oklahoma with Pastor Alan Jones, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.
David was born on September 19, 1960 to Billy Lee Campbell and Clara Hague in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He was raised in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He graduated from Ponca City High School and from the Vo-Tech for his mechanical license. He worked as Mechanic for G&M Collision, Steve's Paint & Body, Mike's Mechanics and Osage Meat Market. He was very helpful and supportive with family, loved kids, and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by mother Clara Campbell of Ponca City, OK; nieces, Jamie Roller, Christa Jones and Cari Roberts; great nieces, Serenity, Hannah, and Carma. Great nephews, Caleb and Aaron; and one Uncle August Hague and his wife Jenny. He is also survived by a lifelong friend, Rachel Hernandez.
Preceded in death by his father Billy Lee Campell and one sister, Ann Marie (Campbell) Roberts.
Casketbearers will be Seth Eddinger; Alan Jones, Corey Benson, Dave Roberts, Tracey Cloud, Derek Depey Honorary Casketbearers will be Caleb Roller and Aaron Jones.
