Georgia Alexander, life-long Ponca City resident, died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2004 at Edmond Medical Center.

A private family graveside service will be held with the Rev. Kenneth Armstrong, officiating. Arrangements were made with Trout Funeral Home. Following Georgia’s wishes, there will be no viewing.

Georgia was born in Ponca City, the daughter of Steve and Bertha (Pavlokos) Alexander. She received her education from Ponca City schools and graduated from Ponca City High School. Georgia worked for Conoco for many years before her retirement. She was a member of the Ponca City Heritage Club and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She was a member of the Holy Trinity in Tulsa and attended several churches in Ponca City. Georgia enjoyed reading, sports and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by her brother, Jim Alexander of Ponca City, her sister, Virginia (Alexander) Angelos of Houston, TX, one niece and one great-niece and one great-nephew.

Georgia was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother, George Alexander.

Memorial contributions may be made to the organization of the donor’s choice.
