Rita J. Horinek, 89, longtime Newkirk resident, died Friday afternoon, March 11, 2016, in Golden Living Centers in Wellington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. A Prayer Service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Newkirk Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established with the Newkirk Education Foundation.

Contributions may be made in Mrs. Horinek’s name through Eastman National Bank.

Arrangements are under the direction of Miller-Stahl Funeral Service, Newkirk.
