Alma Dean Pope Cline longtime Ponca City resident passed away Wednesday evening, September 19, 2018 in Oklahoma City. She was 88 years of age. She was born October 27, 1929 in Webb City, OK. Alma was the daughter of Celia and Frank Pope. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, September 24, 2018 in the Grace Memorial Chapel with Pastor Dennis Widman officiating. Interment will follow in the Newkirk Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City. Casket bearers will be Matthew Spore, David Butler, Logan Krenn, Adam Hobbs, Jace Hall, Shawn Buller.
Alma was married to Ivo Otis Horton in 1946. She was later married to Harold S. Cline Jr. Alma enjoyed crocheting, reading, shopping and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include: 1 son; Michael Horton and wife Pat of Derby, KS, 1 daughter; Lisa Butler and husband Alan of Coppell, TX, 1 sister; Melba Jean Crofford of Amarillo. TX, 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Also surviving is numerous nieces and nephews.
Alma was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son; Rodney Gene Horton, 1 daughter; Linda Kay Spore and 1 brother; S.T. Pope
