A funeral service for Bernard, (Bernie/BB) Blaine Bryson, 82, of Newkirk, Oklahoma, will be at 10 am Friday, March 26th, 2021, at the First Christian Church in Newkirk. Burial will conclude in the Newkirk Cemetery, under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol; Trooper Aaron Crompton There will be two viewings available, one in Clinton, Oklahoma at the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home, on Wednesday, March 24th, 2021 between the hours of 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm the second one at the First Christian Church in Newkirk, Oklahoma on March 25th, 2021 between the hours of 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
Mr. Bryson died Thursday, March 18th, 2021 in Newkirk, Oklahoma. He was born on September 16th, 1939, in Newkirk, Oklahoma the son of Clyde Leroy Bryson and Mary Celia (Wise) Bryson.
He was raised as a strongwilled cowboy and attended school in Newkirk, Oklahoma and graduated in Arkansas City, Kansas in 1958. Mr. Bryson attended Vo-Tech classes in Enid, Oklahoma for his Diesel Mechanic Certification and various continuing education classes for Oklahoma Natural Gas.
Mr. Bryson married Carolyn Gail (Iseminger) Bryson on August 23, 1959, in Arkansas City, Kansas. Their first home was in Odessa, Texas, where he worked for an oilfield company.
They moved to Enid, Oklahoma in 1961 and he continued to work in the oilfield. He later started to work for Oklahoma Natural Gas Company and was transferred to Clinton, Oklahoma in 1986, as a Corrosion Technician, until he retired on January 1, 1998. He also worked part-time for oilfield companies, checking various oil wells, etc.
He and his wife moved to the Foss Lake Estates in 1999 and purchased a recreational vehicle and traveled extensively. In later years they would spend the cold months in Mathis, Texas and the other months in Newkirk, Oklahoma
Bernie loved to be around his grandchildren, acting goofy, playing cards & dominoes, watching old westerns, gambling at the casino, hunting & telling stories. Early in his life he enjoyed being a member of the Lions Club, bowling, skating, fishing, skiing & horseback riding.
Preceding him in death, his wife Carolyn, they were married 55 years, 2 months and 8 days and his parents.
Survivors include three sons, Voe Allen Bryson, and his wife, Debbie, of Arapaho, Kelly Joe Bryson and his wife, Lana of Newkirk, Oklahoma and Phillip Leroy Bryson, and his wife, Mary, of Corpus Christi, Texas; three sisters, Virginia Simmons, Joan Blount & David Bravenec and Winifred & Kenneth Kimmell; 12 Grandchildren; Nicole Bryson, Nicholas Bryson, Natalie Bryson, Ryan Bryson, Danielle Brown, Dustin Clayton, Haley Clayton, Makayla Bryson, Trevor Bryson, Joseph Scott, Angela Scott and Patrick Garrison 17 Great-Grandchildren; Riley Bryson, Teagan Bryson, Tate Bryson, Alex Bryson, Carmaleta Bryson, Mikey Bryson, Ireland Scott Sheehan, Hannah Scott, Clara Scott, Brennan Garrison, Seth Garrison, Tyler Bryson, Tucker Bryson, Tanner Bryson, Conner Brown, Kiersten Brown & Lincoln Blundell and 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren; Paisley Anderson, Kyli Anderson, Keelin Mitchell & Izely Mitchell.

A Funeral Service for Carolyn Bryson, 74, former Clinton resident and now of Newkirk, OK will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 5, 2014 in the Free Will Baptist church in Clinton , and a Funeral Service will be held 2:00 P.m., Thursday, November 6,2014 in the First Christian Church in Newkirk, OK, both services officiated by Rev. Charles Murphy. Burial will conclude in the Newkirk Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
Carolyn Gail Bryson was born March 22, 1940 to Claude Phillip Iseminger and Lola Maxine (Plecker) Iseminger in Arkansas City, Kansas and passed away Friday, October 31, 2014 in the home of her son, Allen Bryson in Arapaho, OK. Carolyn was raised and attended school in Arkansas City, graduating there in 1958. She continued her education at the Wichita Business College learning accounting. She was married to Bernard B. Bryson on August 23, 1959 in Arkansas City, Kansas. They made their first home in Odessa, TX where she worked in an accounting firm. In 1961 she moved to Enid, OK where she did bookkeeping for a gentleman that owned Pittsburg Paint Store and Peyton's Survey Office as well as for Mr. Wright in his CPA Office and she did the bookkeeping for the Flower Patch. She moved on to Clinton in 1986 and she worked for Brittain and Associates, K-Mart, and worked for her son, Allen Bryson in his Accounting Practice retiring in 2001.
She and Mr. Bryson moved to the Foss Lake Estates in 1999 and they purchased a Recreation Vehicle and traveled extensively. In later years they would spend the cold months in Mathis TX and the other months in Newkirk, OK.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Betty Jo Iseminger Hager.
She was a member of the First Christian Church in Arkansas City, KS and while in Clinton she attended the Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing cards, and was a wonderful cook and was well known for her wonderful Thanksgiving Dinners.
She is survived by her husband, Bernard, of the Newkirk, home, three sons, Voe Allen Bryson and wife, Debbie, of Arapapho, Kelly Joe Bryson and wife, Lana, of OKC, OK and Phillip Leroy Bryson and wife, Mary, of Corpus Christi, TX; a brother, Bernard Phillip Iseminger and wife, Donna of Broken Arrow, OK. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Nicole Bryson, Nicholas Bryson, Natalie Bryson, Ryan Bryson, Danielle Brown, Dustin Clayton, Haley Clayton, Makayla Bryson and Trevor Bryson, Joseph Scott, Angela Scott and Patrick Garrison and 19 Great-grandchildren, Riley Bryson, Teagan Bryson, Tate Bryson, Alex Bryson, Carmaleta Bryson, Mikey Bryson, Tucker Bryson, Tyler Bryson, Tanner Bryson, Ireland Scott, Hannah Scott, Brennan Garrison and Clara Scott, Garrett Brown, Conner Brown and Kiersten Brown; and numerous other family and close friends.
