Joe Jimmy Badley passed away December 20, 2021 in Ponca City, OK. He was 60 years old.
Joe was born in Fairfax, OK on March 25, 1961 to George W. and Dorothy F. (Gore) Badley. He attended Ponca City High School and graduated in 1979. He married Susan Luis on August 6, 1999 in Las Vegas, NV. He starting working at Brandts Ace Hardware for many years in the tire shop, then started as a Sheet-Metal Mechanic for Boeing and at Raytheon Aircraft Company in Wichita from 1997-2002. Joe then continued his work in Ponca City as a Pipefitter for Kier/CCC and Teton Industrial Group until 2003. Since then, he worked as a Lab Technician for Continental Carbon for over 15 years.
He is survived by his wife Susan Luis Badley of the home, sons Casey Badley and wife Heather of Ponca City, OK, Wesley Badley and wife Kelcie of Meeker, OK, Michael Badley and wife Shannon of Columbus, GA, and daughter Carlie Jo Badley of the home. He is also survived by brother George P. Badley of Little Rock, AR, brother Perry A. Badley of Ponca City, OK, sister Yvonne Faulkenberry of Mustang, OK, mother-in-law Shirley Luis of Newkirk, OK, and 8 grandchildren, Brytton, Cayson, Paetyn, Leryn, Hayden, Hayzel, Tatum, and Lane.
He was preceded in death by his parents George and Dorothy Badley, father-in-law John Luis, brothers Jesse Ronald and Bobby Gene, and brother-in-law Marvin Luis.
There will be a public viewing at Trout Funeral Home of Ponca City on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 2:00 PM t o 5:00 PM. A rosary will be held that same evening at 6:00 PM at Trout Funeral Home of Ponca City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 2:00 PM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ponca City and interment will follow at Newkirk Cemetery.
