Judith Ann Inmon
February 9, 1938 - February 4, 2025
Judith Ann Inmon of Blackwell, died Tuesday, February 4, 2025, in the Willow Haven Nursing Home in Tonkawa at the age of 86 years.
Judith Ann Inmon was born on February 9, 1938, in Blackwell to Paul and Ida (Mayfield) Gibson. She grew up in Nardin attending Nardin Schools before transferring into Blackwell Public Schools graduating with the class of 1956. Following her education she worked as bookkeeper for Kasl-Hutton Drug. After taking time off as a homemaker, she began working for the Blackwell Public Schools in the cafeteria and retired after twenty plus years.
She married Charles Edward Inmon on January 16, 1955, in Blackwell and they made Blackwell their home. Along with her family she enjoyed camping, boating and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She never missed a good garage sale. She was a member of the Blackwell Methodist Church and served as a fifty year member of the Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by a son, Jim Inmon and Sandi of Blackwell; a daughter-in-law, Becky Inmon of Oklahoma City; grandsons, Brody Inmon of Blackwell, Corey Inmon of Ponca City, Drew Inmon and wife Lindsey of Peculiar, Missouri, and Kyle Inmon and wife Jennifer of Wellston; step-granddaughter, Jamie Lentz of Oklahoma City; and great grandchildren, Brayden and Jaxon Inmon of Peculiar, Missouri, and London Inmon of Wellston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her parents; Paul and Ida Gibson; two sons, Larry Wayne Inmon and Craig Inmon; sister, Pauletta Wood; and brother, Gary Gibson.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 7th in the Blackwell Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Meador of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Nardin.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 on Thursday evening at the funeral home.
The family will be greeting friends at 710 S. 18th Street in Blackwell.
Casketbearers will be grandsons, Brody, Corey, Drew and Kyle Inmon and great grandsons, Brayden and Jaxon Inmon.
A memorial has been established in her honor with ACG Hospice, 3824 N Meridian Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73112.
