Thelma L. Bryant, age 92, of Blackwell, Oklahoma passed away January 17, 2022, at Via Christi Village, in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Viewing will be from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Trout Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Tonkawa, OK. Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022, at 2 PM at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Nardin, Oklahoma.
Thelma was born on December 4, 1929, in Madison, Kansas to Harry and Goldy (Frisby) Holand. Thelma grew up in Blackwell, Oklahoma. She married Lawrence Bryant on October 1, 1950. To this union was born two children, Gary and Larry, and one stepson, Grover Clifton. Thelma dedicated many years of service to the children at Washington Public Schools in the cafeteria.
Survivors include sons, Gary Bryant and his wife, Debbie, and Larry Bryant and his wife, Karen; daughter-in-law, Thresca Bryant; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Thelma is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence; her sister, Ramona; her brothers, Don and Dale; and step-son, Grover Clifton.
Casketbearers will be Dereck Bryant, Mark Bryant, Larry Bryant, Zeke Boyer, Kaden Ralston, and Dale Heath.
