Mrs. Espedita Ramirez Fierro of Ponca City, Oklahoma passed from this life on
October 9, 2012 in Blackwell, Oklahoma at the age of 86 years. Espedita was born
April 19, 1926 in Guadalupe Victoria Durango, MX to her parents Luz and Maria(
Fierro) Berumen.
Espedita has resided the last 31 years in Ponca City, Oklahoma, previously in
Wichita, KS for 3 years. She loved to garden and work with flowers. Espedita was
a wonderful cook. She loved cooking for her family. Espedita was a mother that
united her family in many ways. She was one that gave of herself always. She
loved music and was a strong individual.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years Jesus Ramirez of the home, 10
children: Francisco Ramirez, Yolanda Reyes, Jose Ramirez, Jesus Ramirez,
Rosalinda Ramirez, Leticia Ramirez, Juan Ramirez, Miguel Ramirez, Luz Ramirez,
Luis Ramirez, 1 sister: Maria De Jesus Munoz, 42 grandchildren, 54 great
grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Espedita is preceded in death by 2 sons: Ramon Ramirez and Fafael Ramirez, and 2
granddaughters Maria del Rayo Ramirez, and April Ramirez.
There will be a Rosary Service 7:00 PM, Wednesday evening October 10, 2012 at
Grace Memorial Chapel. Funeral Mass will follow 1:00 PM, Thursday afternoon
October 11, 2012 at St. Marys Catholic Church with Father Kevin Ratterman
serving as celebrant. Interment will follow at Longwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers to serve will include: Luis Ramirez, Iram Ramirez, Rafael Ramirez,
Ricky Valdez, Tzincio Reyes, Jose Ramirez, Candelario Luna.
Services are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City,
Oklahoma.

Jesus Ramirez, 97, beloved Father, Grandfather, and Brother was called to his eternal resting place on May 28, 2021. He entered this world on June 10, 1923, in Van Nuys, California, born to Francisco Ramirez and Panfila Valdez Ramirez.
Mass of Christian burial will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at St Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Zac Boazman officiating. Interment will follow in the Longwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, May 31, 2021, at Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City.
Jesus married the love of his life Espedita Fierro, and she preceded him in death in 2012 after 73 years of marriage. Jesus came to Ponca city from Wichita, Ks in 1979 and went to work as an assembler for Huffy Bicycles in 1984. He enjoyed spending time with his family, raising roosters, horses, reading western books and listening to his Mexican music collection.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are 10 children; Juan Francisco and wife Antonia Ramirez of Ponca City, OK, Yolanda and husband Fidel Reyes of Ponca City, ok Jose Maria Ramirez of Marland, OK, Jesus Ramirez Jr of Ponca City, OK, Rosalinda Ramirez of Marland, OK, Leticia Luna and husband Candelario of Wichita, KS, Juan and Juana Ramirez of Marland, Ok, Miguel Armando Ramirez of Las Vegas, NV, Lucy and husband Danny Wells of Ponca City, Ok and Luis and Josefina Ramirez of Ponca City, OK, Also surviving are 43 Grandchildren,74 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jesus was preceded in death by his parents, Wife; Espedita, two sons; Rafael Ramirez, Ramon Ramirez and granddaughters; Maria Del Rayo Ramirez and April Ramirez.
