September 23, 1949 - June 1, 2015

Constance Delores "Connie" Pardee, resident of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, June 1, 2015.

Memorial services will be at 10:00 am, Monday, June 8, 2015 at the Trout Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Tom Howard officiating. Burial will then follow at the Longwood Cemetery in Ponca City, Oklahoma . Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory. Connie was born September 23, 1949 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Calvin and Geraldine "Jerry" Lane. She married Thomas "Tom" Pardee in Ponca City on February 9, 1973.

She attended Ponca City High School graduating in 1967. Connie went to work for Continental Oil Company at the age of 17 years old and worked there for 17 years. She was church secretary for Eastern Heights Christian Church and later worked for the Ponca City School System as a substitute teacher and a Teacher's Assistant for the Special Ed Dept. She was also employed by the Pioneer Woman Museum.

She had been a board member of the Ponca City Christian Woman's Club, volunteer guide for the Marland Estate, a volunteer for the Ponca City Humane Society, the Ponca City Hospital, the Angel Central Store, and the Ponca City Chamber of Commerce.

Connie spent many years racing sailboats with her husband, Tom. But, her passion was fishing which she enjoyed immensely. She also loved gardening, boating, amateur photography and traveling the United States with her husband in their motor home. She enjoyed attending her son, Travis' musical concerts and his sporting competitions.

She is survived by her husband Tom, one son Travis Lane Pardee and his wife Pam Sipe of Henderson , Nevada; two grandsons, Xavier Thomas Pardee and Ryder Lee Pardee. Also, one brother, Bobby Calvin Lane and his wife Kathy of Edmond, Oklahoma.

The family requests in no food or flowers, but Memorial Contributions in her name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box Memphis, Tennessee 38101 or online.
